Affirmations Practice

One of the most powerful things that I have done to change the trajectory of my life is to work hard to change my limiting beliefs. We all have things we believe from childhood that run our lives and often, we do not even realize it.

One year after starting a regular and consistent affirmations practice, some really big shifts started to happen in my life, which would lead to some powerful choices, and some major and much needed changes.

I believe there is a big misconception that doing affirmations doesn’t work or make a big difference. But there is scientific evidence that the words ‘I am’ are some of the most powerful words in any language. And I know from personal experience that if you have a regular affirmations practice that you follow day after day, and month after month, you WILL see your beliefs shift and positive change happen in your life. Self-Love Practice

Once you have a solid foundation of self-worth and have reconditioned your limiting beliefs so that you feel a true sense of worthiness that doesn’t rely on anything or anyone outside of you, you can focus on the next pillar (see my philosophy) of self-love.

Self-Love is choosing you, prioritizing your wellbeing and happiness, and recognizing and acting on your needs. Ultimately, it is choosing you every day, in any way that you can. In order to do this, you must value yourself enough, and know that taking care of your own needs, allows you to better care for others. Like any practice it doesn’t happen overnight. It is a habit that takes time, and the more you do it, the easier it gets, and the more you can see the value of doing so in your life.
