Self-worth is a strong feeling of worthiness, or sense that you are enough. The sense deep down, inside of you, that you just can’t fake or pretend. And when you have this genuine sense of enough-ness, everything you do and every choice you make comes from a strong foundation and sense of self.
This pillar of self-love represents choice. You, making the choice to prioritize your own well-being and happiness, and not feeling bad about it. Self-love can be built off of self-worth, but they are not the same. When you truly love yourself, you recognize and act on your needs.
Self-care is the practice of taking action to preserve or improve your own health and well-being. When you acknowledge your worth and love yourself, it becomes easier to prioritize your needs. Taking care of yourself is so important to achieving those things in life that you have always dreamt of.
You can think of these pillars as a 3-legged stool, if you don’t have all three, it won’t stand up. Or in life, you won’t stand up to your full potential, or likely to your boss, your partner, or anyone else you need to.
I have created tools, practices, rituals and routines that go with each of these pillars. And it requires lots of rich, gooey self work. I guide you through some of this work in my Transformational Growth Coaching program and I’m currently building an online self-empowerment and wellness experience and community, which incorporates other women’s stories and wisdom, along with my own, that will guide you through all of the best parts and I believe, truly transform your life.
